At Silver Arrow Archery we run a range of courses to help you develop your skills in archery.
We run s courses for novices who want to learn about the sport. These are the best way to get into the sport as you learn how to shoot, terminology, safety rules, forms of archery, and how to score. These courses are mandatory if you wish to join a target archery club.
We also organise improvers courses. These are designed for recurve archers who have been shooting for a while and want to start adding equipment to their bows. This short course will teach you how to tune your bow and understand the more technical aspects of shooting.
If you want to learn about archery - ask us!
Silver Arrow qualified coaches can help you improve your shooting technique.
An hour’s intensive one-to-one session can help you to focus on key aspects of your technique and identify areas of future development.
If you want to come with a friend, we can offer coaching sessions for groups of two, three or four.

Archery equipment needs to be maintained. We can teach you how to do that.
Traditional archers also like to make their equipment.
We can teach you how to make your own longbow. We run courses three times a year where you shape and craft a tri-laminate bow.
Learning to make your own arrows is not only very satisfying - it also proves to be cost effective for traditional archers. We run one-to-one courses which include all the equipment and techniques you need to make a set of your own arrows.
