Do you know how to make sure your bow is working optimally for the distances you are shooting? If you want to understand more about the technical aspects of your shooting, the effects of the accessories that can be added to your bow and how to get the best out of yourself and your equipment then this is the course for you.
Over half a day (approx 3 hours) you will cover:
Please bring all your equipment and do not alter your set up or arrows prior to the course.
Note: this course will take place outdoors - so please dress accordingly.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, the course may have to be postponed to the following weekend.
This course is primarily designed for recurve archers who have progressed to adding pressure buttons and stabilisation to their bow.
At this point it is important that you understand how to tune the bow to get optimum performance.
Please complete the application form and submit it with payment - you can pay by cash, cheque or card. The price is £45 (£35 for SAA members).
Your place cannot be confirmed until full payment is received.
Date of next course:
6 April 2013
If you don’t want to do it yourself, give your bow to us and we’ll service it.
We’ll check it over, clean the working parts, fit a new fastflight string and fit nocking points, replace the basic rest (if you need a new flip rest, this will be charged at extra), change the nocks on your arrows (G nocks charged at extra); then you come in and we spend an hour checking that it is tuned for you and coaching your technique one-to-one.
