Sparrow Hall Farm, Edlesborough, Buckinghamshire, LU6 2ES
A tradition going back to earliest times - making your own bow.
At Silver Arrow we will teach you how to craft a longbow that you will be able to shoot on the second day.
You will be provided with a square tri-laminate stave. Then you will mark it out, and begin shaping it. Over Saturday and Sunday morning you will gently shave and scrape away the wood, tiller the stave to the weight you want and shape the bow so that in the afternoon you should be able to shoot it.
Please complete the application form and submit it with payment - you can pay by cash, cheque or card. The price is £295.
Your place cannot be confirmed until full payment is received.
Date of next course:
