QuickBooks error code 1603 generally occurs when the user tries to open or install QuickBooks on a computer. Step 1. Download and install the QuickBooks tool hub. Once the installation complete, click finish.

Step 3. Update your windows to the latest version and restart your computer.

Repair Microsoft MSXML
1. Press Windows+R keys from the keyboard
2. A Run box pop out from the screen, type appwiz.cpl into it and click OK
3. Select MSXML 6.0 from the list and click on uninstall(at the top of the list)
4. Now download the msxml.msi file from the Microsoft Website
5. Once it’s downloaded make a double click on it and follow the on-screen instructions.
6. Install QuickBooks desktop after the complete install of MSXML file.
