  • Field

Service Description

If you haven’t taken part in our Robin Hoods before, it is a good opportunity to experience competition conditions while only really competing with yourself, shooting at a particular distance aiming to score the number appropriate to your bow type. If you can get the target score you can receive the badge for that distance. The distances are: 20 yards Friar Tuck 30 yards Will Scarlet 40 yards Little John 50 yards Maid Marian 60 yards Robin Hood 80 yards King Richard 100 yards The Silver Arrow You shoot 3 dozen arrows at a 122cm face with 5 zone scoring at the distance you have chosen, aiming to score: Recurve 252 Barebow / AFB 194 Longbow / Trad Rec 132 Compound 288 This year entry is free though you will need to pay £5 for the badge when you achieve the score. This simplifies the administration. (If you are still trying to get a badge from last year, Ian will account for the fact that you have already paid your £5.) Paul will be running 2 Robin Hood sessions on Sunday. A morning session timed at 10:30 for an 11:00 start and an afternoon session 13:00 for a 13:30 start. You can book either one, but for this month, not both.
